To be able to carry and store water was truly one of mans greatest and earliest inventions.

Every continent has produced its unique styles over the ages, evolving to cope with the extremes in climate and making use of the areas natural materials. From the Jungles up to the highest mountains on earth and from the deserts to the isolated islands in the largest oceans pottery has been found going back tens of thousands of years.

For me they not only represent hundreds of cultures through the ages but actual human history, the development and necessity of an Art.
